I'll say what I've said on RLM:

My thoughts on the start incident:

Klaus Graf caused it.

He made a mistake/missed a gear/was asleep - he didn't plant the throttle when the guy alongside him did.

He made some BS excuse on the Motors feed about being told not to go until the third row had cleared the chicane.
So Mr Graf please explain how you, on the front row, are going to know when the third row has cleared the chicane?

I've seen races (standing starts) when both drivers on the front row have jumped the start because whilst they are both looking at the lights if one goes so does the other one no matter what colour the light are!

It was pretty bonkers all the way through - more bumps, blockages, penalties, failed restarts and safety cars after it finally got going but there were quite a few good battles going on.

It was a mad race - the whole lot was odd. I like the track (or at least I've enjoyed it for the last couple of years) but it just didn't feel right yesterday. Too many incidents and pretty bad coverage I thought.

WEC later, might be better?

Reading the reactions on Twitter was more interesting than the race. A lot of the WEC paddock in Sao Paolo were commenting upon it.

Seems to be a big disagreement between Klaus Graf and Chris Dyson about the start/restarts......Chris was adamant he was following instructions..... and later received a stop/go penalty.

I did think some of the driving was a bit 'brainless' - and I wonder if the new USCR will go there.

I doubt that that fiasco will gain any new fans either!

I can't ever remember a worse track, with poorer driving and even poorer organisation.

Sums up ALMS for me. It won't be any better next year.
