Modern off the shelf racers

Was having a discussion at donnington about the ferrari 458 gt2 cars, which have a sequential gearbox fitted, not the standard dsg. Various club racers were saying that these cars were 'relatively' easy to drive, because the steering wheel paddles were retained, and apparently you could right foot brake if you wanted to. Obviously the fast guys would be at the sharp end, but a club racer might not make a complete tit of themselves given a drive.
