Where next for Massa?
Discussion
Don't know where he'll go but if he stays in F1 I think a new team and a few good performances will give him the confidence boost he's been needing for the last 2 seasons. This is a driver who, albeit for 40 seconds, was WDC. He's a good driver who just needs to be in the right place. Lotus would be good for him IMO.

I think he might follow Barrichello into Indycars or Brazilian stock cars.
He's still a very talented driver despite what some here would like to think.
He's a big family man just like Rubens. I think he will take some time out and look at options closer to home. Shame to lose such a genuinely nice guy but exciting times next year in F1!He's still a very talented driver despite what some here would like to think.

This is an often mistaken quote. Fact is he was leading the championship for those "40 seconds" but as the race and therefore the season hadn't finished he was not WDC for any moment. Personally I think Hamilton winning the championship that season deflated him, following on from that I don't think he's ever fully regained his mojo after being hit by the spring and obviously playing 2nd fiddle to Alonso these last few years has finished him off. He seems like a driver who's on the run down as opposed to Hulkenberg who's on the way up IMO. RichB said:

I hope he stays in F1... Hopefully we will still hear from Rob as well!
He's done well, he was a local lad to me but he was from a very rough area. Quite funny hearing his Middlesbrough accent giving orders to a Ferrari driver!I wish Massa all the best. On his day he's still fast.
