I wonder how it looks from an overhead angle. I think it looks a bit too tight to be an overtaking spot?

I was looking forward to this weeks race until I realised it is Singapore. OK the cars under lighting at night is pretty spectacular but the circuit is too much like Monaco for my liking - doesn't lend itself to great racing IMO.

Unless one of the Mercs sticks it on pole.... can't see things improving for Alonso or Kimi though - very difficult for them to work any magic on a track like Singapore where over taking is so difficult, especially for Ferrari who wont be able to use that incredible straight line speed they had at Spa.

Depends on what happens with both Red Bull's gearboxes, both Webber and Vettel were "managing" problems with them at Monza. Grid place penalties? Race DNFs?

Never has a boring & anonymous left turn been greeted with such a positive reaction. Still, it is one of the few corners on the modern tracks to have a name.

Will RBR swap Vettel's gearbox and incur a 5 place grid drop, or will they wing it and see how the race pans out? This is race 5 for his gearbox. This is race 3 for Webber who was also experiencing gearbox gremlins in Monza.

I can see why it was disliked and has been changed, but I must have been one of very few people that liked that chicane, it was something unique and a challenge!

As for the race I cant see anyone but Vettel winning with the form he is in!

Alonso goes well there but I think Hamilton will win from pole. Shame I can't make it this year, I love the place.

Does anyone know how long they've used that particular box for?

I believe the rule is that they have to use each box for at least 5 consecutive events.
