Btcc brands hatch

So before anyone else starts a thread for it I better start it. So last 3 races for the 2013 season with the Jordan almost certain to be champion in both main championship and independents championship.

No news on any extra cars for the last round amd should be back with team boss for what will be the final race for the golf. Unless fuller doesn't compete with team hard no new drivers for them aswel.

This is also the last weekend for the old type porschers aswel.

Hoping for a Honda 1-2-3 in the championship and it'd be good to see Jordan win it. He's driven superbly all year, and only driver to finish in the points in every race I believe.

They tested Tom Barley in the car the other day, which I'm assuming was for him to have a go round Brands before the meeting. His onboard is on Youtube.

To be fair that engine's got to be running at 'she canny take much more captain' levels of boost already

Well I am hoping Turkington wins it- somehow!

The cleanest and most complete driver on the grid - a proper driver (not the usual nudge to pass).

Should be a good weekend, might even wonder over.

Both the Insignia's looked bloody quick down the straights last weekend, but the corners were another matter! They like to cock the inside rear wheel like an 80s hot hatch.

I was following Howard Fuller into Brooklands for quite a lot of the day on Sunday, a couple of times it looked like it was going to fall over!! Must have been a good 8-10 inches of air under the inside rear wheel!

He constantly had the inside rear wheel locked up with clouds of smoke pouring off it, it must have looked like a 50p piece by the end of the race!

That's one of the things I can't get my head around with NGTC cars. I'm just not used to seeing racing cars handle like that. It reminded me of a guy in classic racing at Knockhill, who drives a proper FIA-spec MK2 Escort on tarmac rally suspension. So much body roll!

I think the rolling and pitching makes the cars look brillant and the drivers have to work harder to!

NGTC are great, 300bhp+ (400?), side exit exhausts that spit fire.

Enjoyed the BMWs and the Civics this year, (the Audi!) in particular.

It's rather blurry, my pictures always come out blurry as I haven't got the hang of moving with the cars yet, but I did notice that in my photos of Rockingham too

Me too - he's been extremely unlucky in the latter part of the season - subject to some scandalous driving at Snetterton for example.

Looking forward to taking my lad for his first Brands experience; it's also my first trip to spectate there since going to see the Silk Cut Jags and Rothmans Porshces in the old 1,000KM!!

Be good to see turks take it but Andrew Jordan also deserves it this year too and without a major problem in race 1 and 2 he is going to take it. But as this is the btcc who knows what is going to happen mayby this will be the rd that Jordan fails to finish.

I agree with the sentiment mentioned above, turkington is a good honest driver il be keeping my fingers crossed.

Would love to go to the final rounds at in but it's just the thought of the support races that puts me off!
