Nice one Glenn,
Well after having our our couple of chats, it's nice to see that you have taken the "plunge"...
.brave thing to do happy offer any help - advice - whatever you are obviously speaking with Brian and Adrian good sources of info and useful for pointers..
You don't live a million miles away...might see if you want to lend a hand when we finish off the body fitting on my car
Always welcome at the regional meets....bring your Christmas jumper or onesie if you turn up at this months meet tho....strange but true thats the theme...

Nice
...but you have to race it!
Always willing to give anything a go once, out of curiosity is there some type of list / regs etc that a race car needs to confirm with?...but you have to race it!
Be good to ensure the car has these as well as being road legal so at least the future option is there

Basically you need a roll cage to msa spec, harness and suitable mounts. Seat and seat mounts , battery cut out switches, fire ex, and fuel system sepatate from driver cockpitBe good to ensure the car has these as well as being road legal so at least the future option is there

when you say the fuel system separated from the driver cockpit, does it need have like a wall between the tank and the driver or tank in one of those "cells" that is securely attached?G
as long as its in a box and uses braided hoses your ok.
I've got a 65ltr atl cell where the passenger seat would be ( no tonnue cover in my car) which is enclosed in the atl alloy box. i had to have another alloy box made to go over the top of the fillers, and the pipes are all braided coming out of the box..
mine has integral pumps but if you had external pumps and swirl pot they would need to be boxed or behind a bulkhead.
PW's 5000m has a fuel cell behind the rear bulkhead
