I want wear a helmet cam when I'm karting. But don't want to knacker my helmet by sticking a mounting point to it and I do DMax, Club100 hire kart stuff so can't attach it to the kart.

Does anyone know a way I can wear a camera off-helmet. I thinking gopro or contour look like the camera I want - favouring the contour slightly because it comes in nice colours.

You can get chest mounts for Go-Pro's, which attach with a strap. Not sure id want to wear one in a kart though (do you wear a harness?) a chest impact on the steering wheel would suck!

I was going to recommend the same. I think the viewing angle will be better too, since it'll be lower down (more sensation of speed) plus you'll be able to see your arms and the steering wheel (and possibly pedals) in the shot. Wherease a helmet mounted out (est if on top) would be a bit crap footage wise. But yeah, do make sure it's safe in the event of a collision as a hit could break a rib if it impacts the wheel directly.
