60mph in EU but if you get a trailer with proper anti sway features ( tow hook and shock absorbers) its 70 weights being correct ofcourse. No tacho needed for private use.
as for covers, its a nightmare to sheet down ( it would take 20 mins to do it properly) and it would mark the car.

Reminds me of an ex Oulton track day and race regular, who also has a Ferrari F40 which gets exercised on european track days.
He used to transport the car on a conventional Brian James, but the journey from UK to Belgium always involved a lot of well meaning, but overwhelming attention off petrolheads and public.
He eventually decided to have a fitted car cover made to protect the F40 from the weather, but more importantly, remain discreet.
Unfortunatly, the bespoke cover was so well made it fitted the car like a silk glove , the effect was a perfect red sillouhette of an F40 - it looked like an automotive sculpture - stunning !
Hence, the car attracted as much, if not more attention when covered than it did when visible

well a couple really, first one been what is the speed limit when towing over the channel same as lorry's 50mph ? second why don't people sheet up cars when on the trailer to stop road grime covering your PJ ?
It will rub the paint off down to the bare metal on the corners, tried it , don't do it.yep on both accounts FC and G's if it comes off.I have a track day at Zanvoort also in the summer as well. As Debbie has never driven on the right before I thought it a bit unfair to make her first experience of it in the lorry. Also I will be doing a touristgarten with the Tuscan whilst out there one evening while I'm at it, so it would be better to trailer it over to the ring.
