well as they say the question is only easy if you know the answer. On that note I will press on. I have an oscillating drive shaft quite painful I'm sure, on my circa 1989/90 Rover Tuscan. It will need replacing. I was thinking it comes from a cerbera but the more I think about it the more I'm now not sure. The question is what do we think it is from. Are there many choices over the years to 1996.
If we don't know I will go the Dave Mac route, as a bonus point, can anyone tell me why a drive shaft gets to oscillate but not break just wondering

Don't forget the diff and prop shaft.
i have a massive vibration turn up at Rockingham which turned out to be the diff. After id changed everything else (as i didn't have a diff)

yep, running a new diff first time for a 3:7 transformed the gearing on the car hence fighting with the 308 in future classic's, Tim/Darren will tell us how quick that car is.Also just had a new prop made and just fitted it for the rollers yesterday. It really does look like the shaft in the middle is bouncing up and down so to speak.
