Built by Roger Dowson Engineering and originally entered in the 1995 British Touring Car Championship under the Team Magic banner to be driven by Slim Borgudd, however the car was never raced in the championship and spent several years in storage.

Now campaigned by NW racer Kinglsey Ingram
The ban on the Williams six wheel car had nothing to do with the Tyrell six wheeler. The Tyrell cars ran in 1976 and 1977 and were withdrawn when Goodyear refused to supply the team with the special small tyres they needed.
The Williams car (and a similar March six wheeler) appeared 5 years later and worked on an entirely different principle i.e. the extra wheels were at the rear in order to make the downforce generating side pods work more efficiently. These six wheelers WERE banned by FISA.

The XJ-15 was raced in a very expensive 3 round one make series supporting 3 Grand Prix that year. I think the repair bill helped the TWR cash flow for quite a while after that.
Another unraced race car - the Alfa Procar
And MG were developing a DTM "Rover 75" car at the time they finally went under.
