Did you really expect this not to be on?

The deadline came and went and we were told it wasn't on. Then we were told that it would be a non championship GP which most of the teams agreed to. Then we were told that was a done deal. Then we heard nothing and, wow, it's got the official backing of F1.

Call me cynical but I fully expected this for one and secondly it's a lot of free publicity isn't it for a ailing formula

I wish it would. Nearly every marshal would choose GFoS over the GP to marshal at. Goodwood don't treat us like dirt for a start.
