Sad news. Grand Prix the movie is being shown at 16:15 on BBC2 today.

Oddly I was thinking about watching Maverick last night. Sad but he'd had a good innings, we should all be so lucky.

I watched the movie today on bbc2 , first tome in years .
it was made in the year I was born....
a truly great actor

Probably hadn't seen that he died.

Remember this is the organisation whose employees are quite happy to go through an airplane crash site and pick up items to show the camera! rolleyes (SkyNews did it as well!)

I bought the DVD when it first came out. The atmosphere is what it is all about - paddocks on grass, pretty girls in mini-skirts, etc etc.
