Anyone know if this is now an all ticket affair or can stages be accessed for spectators free of charge?

A good few years ago we used to take a 4x4 and most of the time managed good access to the forest stages (via bridleways etc) but having not been for a while not sure if this is still possible. I have a feeling many UK green lanes and bridleways have now been re-categorised as no go areas due to the damage caused by too much misuse.

Cheers,

Free of charge???? Ha ha, no chance, well not officially. Unless you know the area and know of any backways in. A lot of the surrounding roads are closed.

It is possible but it's only £20 on the gate to get in a stage for the day. Not really worth bothering walking miles to get in to save you the money IMO.
