Massive crash for Webber in last race of WEC
Discussion
Glad to see him wave as he was being stretchered off. Real shame for porsche on the last race of the season.
Porsche have tweeted he is ok. But still looked to be a nasty one. http://youtu.be/wam9HOnqtVE

Thought exactly the same thing as soon as I saw where it was. N0ddie said:
What happened to the 20 car anyway. At the 2 hour mark it was 15 seconds in the lead and when crashed was running 6th?
It seemed to lose some top end power around the halfway mark, went from lapping in the 1:19s to around 1:23 at its worst. The P1H field was so tight that this was enough to drop it down the order, especially as the Audis seemed to get quicker the longer the race went on. I think there may have been a slow pitstop in there as well (possibly to diagnose what was wrong?), but the coverage cut away so can't be sure.Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
