Now here's a guy who really does deserve the label LEGEND.

Seen it before and watching again until FA Cup KOs.

Unbelievable! To want your own car disqualified because the driver is not Italian.

Yes, he sorted the previously poor Ferrari, won a Championship with it for them and that's how they treated him. My Motor Sport enthusiasm was at its peak in the 60-70s and I attended Grand Prix here in the UK and on mainland Europe. It was a fine era and seeing the likes of truly greats like Moss, Clark, Hill et all ~ I can just remember Hawthorn ~ provided lifelong memories. Standing trackside with just a post with a Motor Racing is Dangerous sign on it between you and the speeding J.Clark passing are things you never forget.

IIRC, Surtees went on to drive for the Honda F1 team, sorted that car and gained Honda a victory in their own name, not just as a engine supplier.

Legend, especially on the MV Agusta ~ WHAT a sound.

Youngsters today, don't know theyze born ... wink

Even with more Mercedes-Benz walkovers in prospect, I shall still enjoy the races this season.

Just maybe both Williams and Ferrari will close the gap. Doubt it but, one lives in hope. I fully expect Bottas to really realise his potential this season... vertebrae nerves allowing.
