Great to see Tom Blomqvist take a well deserved win in his rookie season in DTM. Brave decision to move out of single seaters and proof that a good management team opens doors...but you still have to deliver the goods.

Seems strange seeing a Union flag next to his name - son of the legend that is Stig. However, good to see the talent has been passed down.

Essex boy....Stig lived in Debden near Saffron Walden - both boys were born there

I think both boys spend the winter in NZ, then return for the racing season.

Paul spent the winter in Sweden last year but Tom got back home for a couple of weeks. Clearly Paul's a good talisman for his brother...he should attend all the future races!

He was always a driver who stood out to me in junior single seaters, along with Alex Lynn, Jean-Eric Vergne and James Calado, so it's great to see him doing well now.

Tom being British is less strange than Nico Rosberg being German or Max Verstappen being Dutch actually, but it does still make me do a double-take occasionally.
