I did it earlier this year when on holiday over there. Only a fool would drive it at a decent pace when it's not being used as a racetrack. It's a public road and there are buses on it. Going both ways........Speaking of which, have you seen that you can drive the Bathurst circuit. If you get the chance, though, have a drive round, I went round about three times. You do have to take care though.
