Wales Rally GB - Recommend me a good sat spot ?

Hi All
I've not been to Wales Rally before, and am planning on taking my 9yr old tomorrow (saturday) for his first taste or rallying
Can someone recommend me a few good spots to get to tomorrow that are 9yr old friendly (i.e. fairly near a burger van or something similar that could keep him from moaning about standing around for hours)
A tarmac bit would be good to see, but as we've always gone to the FOD rally through the trees, I'd love to see some of that too

Also, can I buy tickets on arrival, or do I need to book online and print them out ?

Chirk super special would probably be best unless you really want to trek through the forests. There are other things to see there too, but its ticket only I believe,check the website see if you can still get them.

Looks like we're off to the NEC for the classic car show instead. At least he can't moan he's cold

Slight topic hijack with regards tickets, cant you just turn up, walk across a field, and be next to the stage, without paying?

That's what I want to do, but don't know where to go.

Most of the stages are in the middle of nowhere, with very few access roads. The roads that are there will probably have people checking tickets...

I have a print-at-home Forest Stage ticket for tomorrow if anyone wants it - I can't use now because I've hurt my leg. Valid for anywhere except Chirk Castle.
