The local Dubai based touring car team that I help run (official title "Sporting Director" LoL) as a hobby had a documentary shot on our build-up and participation in this years Dubai 24hr race.

The good news is that Emirates / Quantas airlines have taken the documentary and it is now on their ICE system.

So if you are flying either airline and want to watch a bit of motorsport then look for "Labour of Love", the only downside being you get to see my ugly mug a few times.

Is this the Honda DC5 one that I've been waiting for?
If so, will it be going on You Tube after the airlines have had it?

You are correct this the Honda DC5 that we are evolving from a touring car to endurance spec. Hopefully we will be able to upload to a video sharing site in the not to far distance future as we are in discussions with some other media outlets who have expressed an interest in showing the documentary.

In the mean time here is a link to our team website:

The airline is -

Lots of people put the "U" in, assuming it is a word.

It is actually a set of initials standing for -

Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services.

Saw this coming home on Emirates yesterday.
Felt really gutted on you guys retiring from the 24 hr race especially after all the set backs plus having to find another windscreen - how lucky was it to have No 3 work out ok and also having to change the engine again.
A lot of work had obviously been put in by the whole team..... you guys are to be congratulated thumbup

Really glad that the follow up race was such a success....... made up for everything clap

Good luck for the 2016 season and keep us posted smokin
