Help Please, cheap Medical required, Yeovil, Somerset area

Applying for National B licence and over 45 so need a cheap medical. My GP has so far taken over a week to deliberate [have original form], and have still not even confirmed if they are prepared to do it, let alone give me a price.
Anyone know any Doctors that will do it preferably in the Yeovil, Somerset area but will travel reasonable distance for the right price and quick service.

I had a similar problem with my (useless) GP in the end I looked for local doctors who do public driver medicals (cabs/HGV) there was a few local and it's a very similar form.

General Practice is in crisis. No one to take up one in ten jobs, a third of training positions unfilled.
GPs are under enormous pressure, just to deal with the ordinary ailments of their patients, and many will not want to use up another twenty minutes to half an hour doing your medical, when they can offer less than five to the queue standing in the waiting room.
