Radio 5 Live is reporting that a sprinkler system is being installed at the Bahrain GP circuit this weekend in an effort to cut down the amount of dust and sand blowing across the track.


Sounded plausible - until I remembered the date

I found myself caught by it and thinking about the logistics...then about 15secs later I had a "d'oh" moment!!!

How bizarre, I remember thinking last F1 weekend that along with all the other daft rules and regulations that have been introduced, soon the spectators at corners will be provided with water cannons, rather like alongside the “rapids ride” at Disney, so they can spray the track as their “target” driver comes through! They have run a good one on German radio this morning , saying that the world cup has been transered to England because Germany is not ready.

Who said ze Germans dont have a sence of humour
