Cheers for that bud!You can definitely have both at the same time. When I was racing I had international c karting and national a car racing on the same licence.
When you apply for the additional licence (in my case adding cars to karting) they combine the two onto one photocard licence. When you renew you just tick however many you want to renew.
I believe though you have to do both the arks and ARDS tests to kart and car race. One does not allow you to automatically do the other iirc. I went from karts to cars though so obviously had to do the ARDS.
