According to Autosport anyway. Whilst I can see the logic of this, now they own Jordan, things do appear to be a little up in the air at Midland / Jordan at the moment, with Trevor Carlin leaving and now this.

I know that it is not like for like, but RBR came into this year from a similar situation, and do appear to have done a little better. They have even nicked Eddie's fun team logo.

Looks like Mr Irvine may be back in a year or so's time after all if things don't improve with the Ruskies

So now I'm confused. I thought the mitigation for the poor running at the moment was that development of the current car had been essentially abandoned in anticipation of efforts on the new car due next season. So was the new car due to have been based around a Dallara built chassis? If this new car isn't going to materialise as planned then they are in worse shape than I thought. As it is they might well find themselves running behind Minardi in the next few GPs.

I can see them not even being on the grid in the next few races if things get progressively worse!

Maybe BMW will think that there is a better deal to be done elsewhere in the pitlane, rather than paying over the odds for Sauber...
