Just had the email.. they say that they might find a time/place for a UK round but likely to be closed doors.

Agag was saying that they will have to abandon city centre racing for a while (possibly up to three years) and use normal circuits instead.

As the race was going through part of Excel, inside, it was always going to be tricky as it is now a hospital

I know it's PR & has to be done officially, hence the statement, but it's hard to believe they waited this long to confirm cancellation tbh.

I think most people knew it was guaranteed to be cancelled as soon as the plans for the Nightingale hospitals were released.

They have not only cancelled the support Jaguar i-Pace series but completely scrapped it. Citing pandemic reasons, not the real reason though that it was boring and no one wants to see 12 electric SUVs being driven sedately around a racing circuit.
