MSA Blue book - List 1A tyres

I have to use these tyres in the sprint series I run in. Who makes the best for my 1.9 205 Gti on standard 15inch rims? I've been told that Goodyear GSD3 are very good.

Any other ideas?

just about *any* normal road tyres is list 1A

there is a list of them in the book, but Yoko A520/539/AVS Sport etc are all 1A

i used Kumho 712s on the 205 when I sprinted it. they were great in the dry but less so in the wet. I found that running in road-going class most people are unlikely to be driving it at 10/10ths as the cars are also used for other things so on the limit grip wasnt a necessity and even more so in the wet where i couldnt afford to bin the car into the tyre barriers!

I would go with 539s.
