Anyone know why he ran into the back of Heidfeld in the pit lane during practise?

it looked deliberate to me on the replay!

Schumacher is renowned for his fast in-laps, not only on the track, but also in the run-up to the speed trap at the top of the pit lane. He does it at every race, trying to get the maximum retardation coming up to the speed gun, and in fact he probably 'gains' a tenth or two this way.
My guess is that he braked at his normal spot, probably assumed Heidfeld had a similar spot (but didn't) and ran into the back of him.

Either that, or he just wanted to ram him out of the way... The frustrations of being in thie year's Ferrari???

Must admit that I'd missed that. But of course it was Nick's fault - doesn't he know that squarehead owns the track. Don't suppose for one moment that any penalty was imposed

It was the way he slowed and then appeared to speed up again pre-impact that I particularly liked.
