writing on tracks
Discussion
in a less than inspiring meeting I was thinking about the people that write on race tracks and what they write. I love it, i think it makes the track look better and it gives the sport a nostalgic feel which it appears to have lost in recent years. So what would you write and on which track would you write it?
Given the chance, there would be a big "Gilles 27" on Eau Rouge courtesy of pablo

Hi Pablo!
Perhaps you should take a wander around Castle Combe one night with your paint brush and see if Mr Strawford loves it! I am not for this in any way!
yeah because quarry corner with some clubbie FFord drivers name in big leters accross the apex is the same thing isnt it?!?!
It's a big tradition in Italy. You still see it at Imola and Monza sometimes.
When I went to Imola in 1995 there was a message on the road on the climb up from Tosa proclaiming that Nigel Mansell was "fat but fast" - a comment on the fact that McLaren had trouble fitting his bum into their car that year
.
I believe it harks back to the days of proper road racing and is also feature of cycle racing.
