Formula One Race today (spoiler)
Discussion
Congratulations to F1's youngest ever world champion
Another intelligent drive today in what is clearly far from the fastest car out there. Maybe not out and out the fastest driver out there, but the one with the best combination of speed and intelligence (post MS of course!).
Just a shame ITV ballsed up the post race coverage, and as ever, were so desperate to get away to Coronation Street :irked:

top bananna - fully chuffed...
He's a top bloke and I'm seriously happy for him.
Should make the next two races interesting now he can put the peddal down fully again
Oh and if you were Mr Button's bank manager would you be looking for a second opinion on the car he's just paid to drive?

JPM got slated in the early part of the year but I think he is qctually faster than Kimi now. The last few races have shown it. Next year I think he will beat him.
I think JPM's shoulder slowed him down. Now it's fit we're seeing just how good the McLaren really is with both drivers doing well.
Great result for Alonso. You cannot help but respect someone that can win the championship in a car that is obviously slower than the principal opposition, there's a very mature head on those shoulders. I just hope that next year a few of the teams that have written themselves out of this years story (BAR, Ferrari, Toyota and Mclaren to a lesser degree with their earlier unreliability) can be competitive next year. I reckon we have one of the best crops of exciting talent in F1 at the moment, if the top teams are reasonbly similar in performance next year it should be a great season.

Would LOVE to see Jenson come good, but y'know, BAR/Honda versus Williams/Cosworth? I may be wrong and perhaps he may know something that I don't of course, but, ....
I really do hope that we're not looking at another "all promise" and no result Coulthard...........
Let's see your metal Jenson!................Go show 'em!
Oh!......Yes!.........I quite forgot.
Congratulations Fernando!!!!.....
