lots of classic and sporting trials. details on the BTRDA website. great if you fancy something completely different. i went to the exeter trial this year and it was great fun. a long day but well worth it. Standing at the top of "Sims" is something every motorsport enthusiast just HAS to do once in their life....
There is a Rally on at Rockingham 10/11th December. Sounds strange i know but they use the oval, infield, pit lane and some of the car park.
I went last year and it was a good day out with a wide array of cars from a near standard polo to a lancia stratos. all for only a fiver.
i intend to visit again thit year.

TBH I wouldn't travel from the North West for this, unless you hold a racing licence and are looking at a drive for next year or know a few drivers going there to chat with. I enjoyed the event last year and it is good but if you're an interested spectator like me then you'll only get 2-3 hours entertainment max.
Far better to go to the Truck Superprix in a couple of weeks' time. Don't mean to put you off, just I'd feel a bit cheated for a lot of travelling.

I appreciate that, Kevin. I do have an MSA licence for sprinting but I certainly won't know anyone there and I most definately wont be looking for a drive in '06.
If thats what its more about, I'll probably give it a miss.
Its probably best that I save my fuel money and blast a few laps at Oulton instead then.
