Any PHers going to this meeting on Saturday (29th October), either watching, racing or otherwise? I've been to the last 2 or 3 as a spectator and love the eclectic nature of it, seeing Clubmans cars racing against BMWs, Austin 7s, Caterhams and the like! Great fun!

Im a bit Gutted. I was entered with a mates team sharing His Mg Midget.. D-warf racing

But we didnt get an entry so No PH team this year...

I dare say there will be some PH logos about though.

I expect the Grantura's are running again.

I might be able to get down for an hour or 2 but we've got a party on at home so its a bit tight..

Team 26 'The Grunties'. Isn't that them? Also, didn't the Royal Purple Oils team run a Tiv of some sort (Grantura, Vixen...) last year?

No, that was the Grannies.

The Grunties comprise an E-Type Replica, a Stratos Replica, a RAM SC (Cobra Replica?), a Kougar Jaguar, a Crossle 9S (?) and a Ginetta G12.

There is a lone Tuscan (Doug Elwood) in the race.

For my money, the most entertaining are the Frazer Nash "Chain Gangsters". Who need a diff anyway?

I seem to remember them running out of diff oil for their mustang.. Mind you Team PH broke:
1 x gearbox
1 x engine
1 x wheel bearing(and associated other damage as it seazed)
Still at least the westy finished the day with no problems! (well excluding a short stopped due to heat soak period..)

A brilliant event once again, I love the huge variation in cars out there and the superb friendly atmosphere in the pits. Shame Silverstone was up to it's usual tricks of keeping virtually every grandstand and toilet block locked. Nice one.

Nick Francis, saw your Noble (****NF?)parked up near my car in the afternoon. Did you enjoy the race?

Anyway, congrats to Mike W and Team Tortoise. Excellent result.

Hi Gary, yes I was there with my daughter's boyfriend. We decided the National straight was the best site for pics as it was the only place where the chicken wire didnt intrude.

Normally I'm quite switched on as to who is racing who at these kind of events but on Saturday I totally lost the plot. I left just before the end. Can somebody point me at the results please?

Pics will be up later

So it was you I saw along the National Straight lugging along the Canon gear! Nice pics, like the one of Baby Bertha. Sounded superb I thought.

As far as results are concerned, I hung around 'til the end of the race to hear that the Gold Arts team won on scratch but I've no idea who won on handicap. There's nothing on the 750 MC site and MST haven't got it either. Just have to wait for Autosport on Thursday then!
