helmet regulations for 2006

Hi to all!!

Is anyone in the know to tell me which helmets are approved for 2006?

I am thinking of buying a SA2005 - will this be ok?

(my first year of racing in the 750MC kit cars so be gentle :-) )

SA2005, SA2000 or BS6658 A/FR are fine for national and international events. In addition BS6658 A (ie bike helmets) are OK for national events.

Yes buy a SA2005 as SA2000 will cease to be legal in a yr or so

Looks like getting one from the States comes in at about 1/2 price to what's available in the UK...

...the drawback being you can't try it on, and if it doesn't fit nicely sending it back might be a problem.
