F1 test day at Silverstone?

what's the deal with the test days at the end of the month - I can't find anything on Silverstone's website. Is it free or loads of dosh, are there restrictions as to who can go, will there be gazillions of people there?....

I went to one last summer and as far as I know, they are always free. They are normally limited to viewing from a certain area (normall the Complex and Pit straight). Does get quite busy but nothing worth worrying about.

I'd recommend going although remind you to take spare batteries for your camera if you go - I unfortunately didnt and didnt get any piccies at all...

Tuesday 25th - Thursday 27th April
Friday 9th - Sunday 11th June RACE
then more testing afterwards
Tuesday 13th - Thursday 15th June

Its a free day, just turn up, park your car and spend the day watching the testing. They give you a ticket as you walk in, why I have no idea...

Prepare to camp at Luffield and don't expect any works of art unless you have a 400mm+ lens.

I noted the dates some time ago from the website, and at that time there was a session listed for 16th-18th May.
Does anyone know whether that one has been cancelled? (I assume by it's absence, it has! )

Its because the 'Motorsport is Dangerous' wordage is on the back of the ticket ...

- that's them in the clear should you be hit by a stray wheel or similar.
