This is the strange thing, it appears that some of the teams had enough fuel, the press release on the LMS website appears to suggest that they didn’t know until the race was underway, and the teams shared out the fuel so they could race for about 4 hours. By my guessing they were about 220 Ltrs short per car for full distance. But 8000 ltrs is much less than a tanker full?
