Indeed, it is the only date that clashed with Pete`s challenge to the Porsche Open GT3 title so that`s where we went. We ended up third overall and second in class behind John bussel in a GT3 RS and Aaron Scott in a GT3, so the first of the non professional drivers !
Were it not for the two safety car periods after 20 minutes or so we might have done even better. As it was Pete`s lead over the slower gentleman drivers in the respective cars was nullified as the train of cars bunched up again meaning the pros took over their cars without any deficit to claw back.
Good fun against a wide variety of cars and a very busy day at the office managing lots of traffic as we were lapping the back of the pack every 4 or 5 laps.
