Sir Jackie Stewart
Discussion
I'm after a contact tell number, email address, postal address for Sir J. The only one I can find is for his motivational speaking engagements and they were less than, well, motivated to get in touch with him for me. Is he still contactable through the BRDC? He kept an interest in Stewart Racing when he sold it to Jaguar, but I assume he dropped out when it became Red Bull?
I would like to do an article on his drive of the Tuscan Convertible in Top Gear for Sprint.

BUT I left my diary on a train a few years ago and hence no longer have Damon's number, Doh!!!
Again you could try the BRDC (although not sure what his role is there now...).

As the Tuscan piece was for the BBC, paid for by the BBC and filmed by the BBC, you may find that they will have the copyright on any material deriving from the Top Gear item.

If that is the case I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult for the club to arrange a suitable car for him to comment on, most probably the same car.
BRDC seems a possibility - they may understand your issue a little.
Also, he is the chairman of a committee at Cranfield University designed to develop and place personnel in motorsport - Williams have historically provided scholarships for them. Try emailing motorsport@cranfield.ac.uk and they may help, but he is a very private person, so you may not have much luck gettng hold of him....
Good Luck.

No one is going to give you his personal details, nor should they. I would like to do an article on his drive of the Tuscan Convertible in Top Gear for Sprint.
Compose your proposal in a personal letter. Put it in a sealed envelope addressed to him and send it to the Secretary of the BRDC, requesting that the Secretary forward it to JYS.
flemke has got it right: I would'nt give out anyone details, but I would pass the person intereste onto them, saying "they might contact you". Write a letter, explaining what you want to do to the BRDC, and the follow-up with a phone call to the BRDC a week or so later.
Wasnt it amazing drive on Top gear, though? James May had all day in that car. JYS had a few laps to set a time, and I doubt he had any serious practice laps. He was still 6 seconds quicker them May's fastest lap.
Oh to see JYS in the Grand Prix masters, with Mario as well...

Try contacting him at Red Bull racing.
I know he is still very much a regular visitor there

Really?...surely he'd spend any spare time at Williams.
FWIW I spoke with his driver yesterday at Silverstone and he told me the best way to get things to JYS is indeed to mail them c/o Silverstone Circuit
