What do you reckon the chances are of me & the missus getting tickets if we turn up tomorrow at the gate? Any idea of prices? Tout or official jobs? And when would I need to set off, bearing in mind it's a good 90 minute drive for us (Basingstoke!).

Never been to Formula One and thought it might be a good experience....if the price is right!

This is a great attitude, to bad it didn't/may not work out. Reminds me of a few years ago when I was on business to eastern Indiana with my dad and I just realized, hey we could go to F1 qualy's. Casually drove to town, no traffic, parked, walked in (not a packed crowd very orderly) sat on the grass (could have sat in any stand) and watched multi millionaire F1 drivers in their multimillion dollar cars - oh! The noise and speed - Wow!. It was utterly surreal. All in Indiana?!

I'm not all that fussed about F1, (well, couldn't give a flying f**k in all honesty! ), just thought it would kill an otherwise boring sunday if I could get there.

It would actually have been more boring if you had managed to attend the Silverstone Snoarfest.
