Does anyone know where I can find lap times for this particular variant of the Rockingham circuit, its almost the International Long circuit, but without the loop back into the infield near turn 3 of the oval. I've tried the MST site but can't find anything there.

Also any driving tips there. I know the national circuit cos it's where I took my ARDS but don't have much info on the "Sportscar" circuit

The MGCC used the sportscar circuit when they held meetings there. If you look at MST's website and click on the MGCC you should find the Rockingham meetings - they will only be from last year and back though - The MGCC hasn't run Rockingham this year because very few people entered the event - not a popular circuit with the racers - so it was binned.

When we were there a couple of weeks ago they were digging up the infield section. I guess they may have finished all the work now? But If it's any help Ariel Atom 1.17 Enzo 1.24

Those times were on a funny, usually unused section of the infield.

Well that's just percuilar because whenever I got final instructions through for Rockingham it always stated the circuit was the Sportscar circuit. I remember clearly as the sportscar circuit isn't in my copy of the Autosport circuit guide.

I was there a couple of weeks ago on the Sports car layout in a scratch invitation race with a variety of cars. Go to MST here www.msttiming.com/meeting.asp?event=62567&source=dot2006&eventtype=dotclub and click on the Sports and Saloon races and you will see a variety of times there for differnt models of car, the fastest I think was Tony Soper's Eurcar Alfa and a Westfield type thing. I was driving my IROC. It was on the 1,6 mile circuit, disregard the 1.4 it says in the header that was for PickUps and SCCA.

Oh and don't do what I did (twice!) get a blinding rolling start down the inside, take about 4 cars then brake for the chicane on turn 1 as its not used on the first lap (Duh)!
