silverstone july 28 - 30 camping

going to the silverstone classic end of july,can anyone reccommend the best site to camp?must be secure and have easy acsess to silverstone,first time ive camped here ,any suggestions please,really looking foward to it as ive been before for the day,but thought it better going for the weekend.

theres a golf course just behind copse that turns into a campsite but i cant remember the name of it of hand, i'm sure someone will be along soon to tell us waht its called.

I've camped there before, its 5 mins walk from the circuit and has showers etc

Their is a campsite at Whittlebury Hall I stayed their with a female friend in 2003.

thank you,looks like the golfcorse one looks favourite,seems a bit strange having a golf course next to a race track though.

you might want to check the weather report before camping there, its looking like it could be thunder storms on the friday/saturday.
