Is it possible to walk the pits on the sunday at all or is this just for officials and other hob nobbing types?

Cant wait for it!

I presume its open for specators a la Le Mans, be dispointed if it isnt

It is shown on the timetable of events so guess there's a good chance
its open to all

It is shown on the timetable for Sunday lunchtime and is open for all spectators as far as my reading of the forms goes. Should be a great chance to see the cars too thumbup

According to the timetable on the link the pit walk is from 10:35 - 11:55 on Sunday. There is nothing on the timetable that indicates whether it's a ticketed walk or open to all - your best bet would be to phone the circuit before making any assumptions! (also note that the timetable linked is still shown as provisional).

The reference to "pits open" at 12 refers to the pit lane opening for cars to go onto the track - not that the pit lane is open to punters!

If it is anything like previous events at Spa and Silverstone, then you can enjoy a wander through the pits.

Shame about the pit walk after all the commotion surrounding the pit girls - we were being ushered out of the pits almost as soon as we'd picked up a poster from the LNT team (thanks guys!). Cue racecars leaving the pits whilst members of the public (including myself) were still being ushered through to the dismay of one or two of the drivers stood there shaking their heads.
