Multistorey carpark in Windsor this morning there is a fully liveried Ford Focus in Vodka Kick colours. Names on the window are Dashfield and Perez. I have googled them and come up with this:

If this is a replica its a very good one. Fully caged, no interior, harnesses, WRC spec wings and spoilers, huge brakes and competition road tyres.

Someone has written D*CK across the windscreen in what looks like lipstick which is a shame, whether this is a genuine racer or not. Either way its a fine bit of preparation.

Anyone know anything about it?

you are indeed parked next to a wrc rally car, although it could be a show car... is there a ford dealer near by?

is there a rally on nearby?

is there a rally prep firm near by?

or it could of been nicked?

the dick sign on the window, is either the venomous scribblings of a spurned lover, or a sign of the times in todays world, where anything the says fast is considered the devils spawn.

if i was you, i'd call the police on the grounds that

a) it could of been nicked and perez is looking for it,
b) its been vandalised...

I would imagine it will be one of the replicas, Steve Perez, the MD of VK Vodka Kick uses an 05 wrc focus in the MSA National Gravel Rally Championship (of which he is the current champion) and the company has a replica of the car for pr purposes. The proper car has the reg number VK3, I can't remember which plate is on the copy.

Here's the proper wrc one

and Steve also has an interesting historic rally car also

Cheers
Ian

Ah OK, must be a replica then. The reg was very similar to that but not the same. An extra digit after the 3. If its there when I leave tonight I'll take a picture. Looks very odd parked next to all the mondeos and 4x4's

You really shouldn't be parked on the side of a rally stage!

That would be 2 of the cars that Steve owns, he also has a stage Porsche 911 that he uses in historic stage rallying and several "normal" stage cars as well.

Unusually for a man with lots of cash, he also knows how to drive them.
I've competed on many of the same events as him and he's a real down to earth guy as well.
