Can you help?

I am hosting a themed motorsport (60's & 70's) fancy dress party for
charity in October. I would like to obtain, hire, borrow some suitable period props to
give a bit of atmosphere to the event and set the scene. Things like some period tyres
(maybe on rims), banners (Dunlop, Bridgestone, Shell etc), period signage. Maybe a classic race car.

I also need something suitable to wear.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for this this kind of thing?

It might be worth a chat with James Beckett at the BRDC, they have a whole stash or archive material he might be able to help.

I was thinking exactly that just last night. Unfortunatly i have other commitments this weekend.
