I'm not sure I subscribe to the "best ever" school of thought but I'm actually sad to see him go as I love Ferrari. Hopefully Kimi can do the job.

Certainly will be missed, I think F1 wolnt be the same without him.

What a way to go though if he can clinch this 8th Championship.

Assuming he wins all the remaining races this season, that will be 93 victories! Must have been tempting to stay on for 100 wins!!!

For my liking there was too much one sided praise of schumachers career (greatest driver ever blah blah blah) and not enough criticism. The closest it got was Murrary saying: "He's pulled soem tough moves, adelaide 94, suzuka 97... monaco this year..." forgetting to mention silverstone, where he put alonso on the grass, the fact he did the same to hakinnen at spa... the fact his won at least one world champiopnship with an illegal car... oh... and the ones that were mentioned I'd call "cheating" rather than "tough moves."

It'll certainly be interesting, with the two main contenders at new teams. Could leave it wide open.

My money would be on Alonso, McLaren's infrastructure hasn't been based around one person for years. It's a bigger change for Ferrari.
