I'm glad you like it. I'm one of the guys working on this project and we've been totally gobsmacked by the amount of help we've recieved directly from some of the teams. Thanks guys if you're reading this!
The next release is planned just prior to Christmas and will include upwards of 50 cars from 2001 to 2006. After that, due to the size of the file, all future releases will be made of individual years, the first probably being 2004 since we have more cars for that. Obviously we're limited by the models available for GTR2, which means that we dont have cars yet like the 430 or the Panoz, but our aim is to make every single car possible that has raced in the British GT this century. Thx to Team RPM we already have their 2007 car as work-in-progress.
Please remember that for us this is a labour of love, a hobby. We're getting them done asap

any danger of including any of the ProSports?
I wish.
The problem is that there are no models of them in GTR2.
Actually, there are very few people out there capable of making new cars, and those that can have a long list of requested cars to make. It can take many months to build a new car and then you have to get it in game; getting the physics and engines right. As far as we know, there are a 430, a number of different DBR9's and a Commodore (Emotional Engineering are replacing their Monaro for 2007) in the works, and maybe a few of the older cars from earlier seasons. I really hope the 430 comes through since I expect alot of the 360 teams may swap to those (JMH are definately). Fortunately, there is a Viper Competition Coupe ingame, since Team RPM are racing two of them next year, and we already have the photos from them to produce it. For the Exiges we're having to use the Elise model, but we've altered the engine files etc to make it drive like an Exige.Just to keep you updated, we've just begun the test phase of v1.1. This version includes a total of 54 cars not including the optionl pace car. A number of cars have recieved new engine files including the vettes, elises and exiges. There may well be a couple more cars to add to the release too, including at least one challenge cup ferrari. The cars files have been altered so that they no longer show up alongside the FIA cars but all cars that have NOT had their engines and physics altered will still be accessible in single class races.
This will be the last bulk release. From now on we will be concentrating on one year at a time and the entire mod will be split up into its component years. The New Bob recently joined the team, bringing along his powertours mod from GTR, extending the range of seasons back to 2000.
Release of this version is planned for 24th December.

The Maddog Mod Team are proud to present
The British GT Mod for GTR2
This addon for the Simbin game comprises of 56 highly detailed cars from the years 2001 through 2006 that have competed in the British GT. Each driver has been replicated including their helmets and faces, so for those of you out there that competed expect to see yourself looking back at you!
This version of the mod also included 4 British Circuits not seen before on GTR2, Silverstone (includes the GP, National and Sport versions), Knockhill, Thruxton and Castle Coombe.
We would expecially like to thank the teams for their feedback and support, most noticably Martin Short & Rollcentre Racing, RPM Motorsports and Lotus Sport Cadena.
This mod is our way of thanking the drivers and teams for all the work, effort and not inconsiderable expenses that they have put in to give every single spectator out there so much please, enjoyment and excitement. We look forward to meeting as many as possible in 2007 as we continue to develop this mod by adding yet more cars from past and future seasons. Already we have the GT3 Mosler completed and one of the RPM Vipers painted and awaiting sponsor details. If any other teams could assist us with photos etc, then we would be most grateful.
Further details of this mod can be seen at http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.ph whilst the mod itself can be downloaded from our website at www.maddogsimracing.com/gtr2bgt.html
May we wish you all the best in the 2007 season.

Is there a working link for the mod?
Yes, sorry about that. We moved website recently since we've expanded into designing livery's for real cars.
You'll find us at www.madigitalmedia.com
If you go through the 'Computer Games' section then you'll find the download for the mod.
Incidentally, I race with WR Racing myself on Fridays in the classic Caterhams. I'm Aaron
