Not really much of a surprise, but Loeb has been crowned WRC champion for 2006 after Gronholm failed to finish at least 3rd in Australia.

Hirvonen did well to score his maiden victory I thought.

Well done Loeb. Funny to see he had to get up early to be told the result.

So Loeb wins another WRC title, only this time driving a settee (and with one arm tied behind/beside his back)!!!!
