The EERC community might like to spare a thought for Ben Salmon, who is critically ill in hospital. Ben was taken ill whilst racing in Germany a fortnight ago, a bout of food poisoning disturbing a recurring serious ailment.
Ben, a lifelong friend of EERC boss James Tucker, has been with the EERC from the very start, though in the last few years, budget, business, and illness have meant that we have not seen enough of him in the drivers seat. He had, though, recently renewed his partnership with Nick Starkey, in their Honda Accord, enjoying a good race in the Dutch Supercar Challenge at Silverstone in September.
I'm sure that you will all join me in wishing Ben a good recovery at this difficult time.
