Saw this at the weekend and fully expect to be down there camping for two nights. Last year we went down for all 3 days but the first day was a bit quiet so would probably head down on Friday night instead.

The Kentagon Bar in the evening was a right hoot for anyone thinking of going down.

£39 for the weekend is a bargain. I'm pleasantly suprised that they haven't jacked the prices up following the success of last year. I don't think they have the TGP cars on the schedule which is a shame.

Hi Steve, I'm only 10 miles down the road so would be well up for a drink if you make it down!

The campsite is top class! It's literally over the road from the grandstand entrance and the circuit is all open up at night so you can nose into the pits.

We had tickets for the grandstand at the top of paddock hill last year which was great for the race. Brands is such a good track though we spent ages just wandering around and getting some classic shots.

Still haven't heard anything about Marshaling it yet!!!
Was Awesome last year, And I got on the Telly Box!
Good job they missed me putting the boot into Lebanons car trying to get the strap through the roll hoop!

And another amusing thing, You know how the has have no numbers, just GBR, USA ect well one of the cars was black flagged at Brands, normally you put out the flag and the number, no one thought about the fact they don't have numbers!! Kinda makes it tricky!

Top weekend last year! - Just hoping it won't take 2.5 hours to get out of Brands a further 2 to get to the M25 this year.

I guessed that getting out could be a problem on race day as the A20/M25 junction that morning was at a standstill (I ended up turning round and going down the M2 before going cross country) - it had all the makings of the British GP at Silverstone when I went a few years back.
As I result I left mid-way through the last race which was sadly the TGP cars but I did get out very swiftly.
45,000 attended last time - I'm sure it won't be less in April.

I left about last (or so I thought!) 40 mins to get out of the car park, and then TomTom said there was atleast 2 crashes (I love the pic of the car on two wheels!) so I went though London, went through the Blackwall tunnel, and for some strange reason lost me sat nav signal, by the time I got out and got a lock I was in the middle of tower bridge doing a u-turn!!
They really need to sort out there traffic issues!

pah! TGP was the only reason we went last year, the DFVs through the forest sounded excellent but not a patch on the flat 12 ferrari! might og though at that price as Brands GP circuit is pretty much the best in the uk!
