It looks like following the succes of the MaX5 race series that the HSA has decided to create a class for MX5s.

I think thats because the engine is low on power for it's size. Getting your ass kicked by s2000's and such cant be all that much fun.

Or 1400 Metro's for that matter.

Should be fun - if there are enough some clubs will run a separate class for them or you just have to slot in with size/mod class. Dangers in both - I always get whopped in MG only classes as I haven't got a chance against 4.6 Litre V8s (race prep or not), on the otherhand I struggle to beat westfields in the modified classes
