Basically, is there any? Where do Swiss racers go?

Moving to Zug in August, probably put paid to my plans for Clio Cup again this year, so any help gratefully received!!

Motor sport is illegal in Switzerland. So you have to cross the border to France/Italy/Austria/Germany.

As far as I'm aware motor racing is still banned in Switzerland as it has been since the Le Mans accident in 1955. I'd guess Swiss racers must go over the border to France/Italy/Germany. I work for a swiss company (not motorsport related), but thankfully in the UK operation! They did offer me a job over there once, but there's no way I'd want to live in such an Anti car country. (Although saying that, this one seems to be trying to head in the same direction rolleyes )

It appears I was a bit hasty, apparently only actual racing is banned there. Anything against the clock, I.e Rallying or Hillclimbs is still permitted. No circuit racing of any kind though

The best it gets is drag racing at Turtmann in the Valis, runs in July. They have a huge turnout and it is spectacular - an airstrip up between the mountains that has to be seen to be believed. Hearing a top fueller echo off the mountains really something to experience. Link is www.swissdragster.ch/
