I see it didn't take long for McLaren to turn the young free thinking Spanish world champion into a cardboard cut out, see cover of Autosport...



What was wrong with the old look? Seems to have lost alot of his natural charm with the shaved head now, just another marketing tool for Mercedes and Mclaren to roll out around the world.

Let's just hope that they have spent more time on improving the car than Alonso's styling.

Didn't they shave Raikkonen too? A pattern is emerging here! Have to say it, being a McLaren fan, but of late I've felt that they've become even more concerned with business, to the detriment of their sporting success. Pitching stupidly conservative race strategies is not the way to win GPs.

I couldn't care less what hair cut he had... Just intrigued to see how he is gonna raise McLarens game! It will be hard to read their (particularly Alonso's contribution) pace this year tho because Lewis Hamilton is a bit of an unknown quantity.

But regardless, I just want to see Alonso and Kimi finally lock horns!!

I agree about the corporate image detracting from McLaren though - lose the hugo boss leather jackets for christ sake! The 80's are long gone!! And remember those gay looking licra shirts they had/have?! I'm no stylist but...
