Hi there,

Attended the general test at Donington this morning for an hour. Not much BTCC action with only Mike Jordan (Integra) and Matt Jackson (BMW) out on track but nice to see the pre season preparations are starting to gather pace.

Highlight of the day for me though had to be this: -

Was not really into BTCC back in the days when this was winning races, superb to see it back on track and I am so pleased I was able to get some shots of it.

Does anyone know what race / series this car is competing in this year ?

There was also quite a bit of action in preparation for the 2007 Le Mans Series. Good to see that the teams are all progressing ready for the new season.

Good to see another Radical chassis out on track, does anyone know which team this is heading for ??

Radical SR9

Chamberlain Synergy

TVR

Regards

Tim

Brilliant pictures mate !

Nice to see the LeMans TVR out and about.

Do you know who's running it and in which championship (if any) this year ?

Hi there,

The TVR will probably be running in the 2007 Le Mans Series.

www.lemans-series.com/2007/uk/index.asp

There is only one round in the UK which is at Silverstone on 14/15/16 September.

Nice one - will keep my eye open. Shame it won't be in a National series. I watched the car at LeMans in 2005 (providing it's the same one - sure it is) and it would be nice to see it again.

The TVR was only out for a bit of fun to keep the owner's hand in. It has been replaced by a Panoz for this year, which the team was running at Snetterton last weekend.

Sadly you won't see the old girl in the LMS this year, as it has finally been retired from active duty.

Yes Lazy, that's the one from LM '05. It's also the very first Tuscan R produced.

The Eclipse version might make a couple of appearances this year in Britcar as we've located enough bits to make an engine.

Thats a shame. Its destined to be an historic car after competing and completing at La Sarthe plus all the crap that has gone on with TVR over the last year or two.

I wonder if the TVRCC Sprint magazine will end up having a feature on it sometime in the future (2040ish) after an extensive renovation etc. etc.

The mondeo was being run by myself.
Taylors Foundry Motorsport - (i was the one running around with the slave battery)

Were running it this year in LMA Eurosaloons starting off at Oulton Park on 14th April.

The car hadnt been run for 5 years so the test day was just a quick shakedown.

Excellent pictures

Yeh going good mate, testing the DBRS9 again at Oulton 2nd March, but noise limits mean we could end up being kicked out! lol!

Possibily be out in the DBR9 GT1 a few times this year, so watch this space!

Beer sounds good to me!
